ETSY GROWTH ADVISOR
a measured answer
Generic Etsy advice is free on the internet and mostly wrong for your shop. The advisor first decides whether your question needs live data; if it does, it measures Etsy right then, and if it doesn't, it doesn't — and it never charges you the research rate for a turn it didn't research.

THE PROBLEM
"Use long-tail tags." "Improve your photos." True, and empty. Which tag? Which photo? Those sentences were written without ever seeing your shop, your niche, or this week's competition — and the seller who follows them can never measure whether anything changed.
THE FIX
Every turn runs in the same order: the planner decides what the question actually needs, your shop is read if that helps, up to three phrases are measured live on Etsy if the question calls for it, and the answer is built on that measurement. When the measurement fails, the answer says so — it never narrates an estimate as if it were measured.
DOCTRINE
The advisor loads at most two areas per turn. Doctrine that has nothing to do with the question only dilutes the answer.
What to sell, niche and buyer-situation positioning, differentiation, judging whether a product idea is worth it.
Being found in Etsy search: titles, tags, keywords, and why a listing gets no impressions at all.
What to charge, price position against competitors, margin, and what a discount actually costs.
Listing page and photo quality, why views don't turn into sales, and the buyer's objections.
Shop credibility, reviews, social proof, handling criticism, and looking like a real business.
Shop-wide product mix, which listings to keep or fix, concentration, and expanding a range.
Repeat buyers, the post-purchase experience, and managing expectations.
What to do first, sequencing the work, building a routine, and measuring whether a change worked.

on a real turn
The tool's own chat surface: the question, the plan, the measurement, and an answer built on top of it.
HOW A TURN RUNS
The planner reads the question and decides what it needs: a direct answer, your shop data, or a live market measurement.
If needed, your shop is read and up to three phrases are measured on Etsy right then. If this step fails, the research rate is not charged.
The answer is built on the measurement and the doctrine areas that apply. If something could not be measured, the answer says so.
HONEST PRICING
Live measurement is expensive work, and it raises the price of that turn only. Reading your shop costs nothing — neither Etsy quota nor credits; only research escalates the price. If the measurement cannot run because of a rate limit, a quota ceiling or an Etsy outage, the turn is not billed at the research rate.

The difference is where the answer comes from. The advisor plans the question, reads your shop when that helps, and measures Etsy at that moment — then builds the answer on that measurement. A general language model does none of those things; it recalls what it was trained on.
No. With a shop connected the advisor can read your own listings and the answer gets concrete. Without one it works from market measurement and doctrine.
It still answers, but it tells you it couldn't measure, and the research rate isn't charged. An answer that narrates a guess as a measurement costs more than an incomplete one.
It won't decide for you and it won't promise sales. What it measures is Etsy's search result; whether a niche suits you is a judgement about your own time, skill and taste — and that judgement stays yours.
