KEYWORD EXPLORER
measured sub-niches out
Type the phrase you'd target on Etsy. Keyword Explorer measures it live, pulls related phrases from the titles and tags of the listings competing for it, measures those too and ranks them. Your 13 tags come from numbers, not hunches.

THE PROBLEM
Most sellers pick tags by feel: the words they'd search themselves, plus whatever a competitor uses. Nobody checks how many listings already fight for each phrase, or whether buyers react to it at all. So the broad term goes in, sits deep in the results, and the narrower phrase that could rank never gets tried.
THE FIX
You type one phrase. We search it on Etsy, read up to 100 competing listings and collect the phrases their titles and tags actually use. Then we measure those phrases the same way, score each one against the keywords Momentum Radar measures every day, and show which sub-niches carry demand with fewer competitors.
WHAT YOU SEE
Six readings per keyword. Each one comes from Etsy's own search result, and the tool says so when a sample is too thin to trust.
Etsy's own active listing count for the phrase. It's the size of the queue you'd be joining, not an estimate.
Favorites per day across the measured listings. Etsy publishes no search volume, so this is the closest demand signal a seller can actually get, and it's labelled as exactly that.
How many of the measured listings were opened in the last 30 days. A high share means newcomers are still getting in.
Demand and low-competition percentiles against the Radar universe, combined with a geometric mean. A keyword that is strong on only one axis can't score high.
The typical price range among the measured listings, so you know the price level before you produce anything.
Every measured keyword placed by competition and demand, split at today's Radar medians: sweet spot, crowded but in demand, quiet, saturated.
DEMO
to a finished tag set
Recorded on the tool's own screen: one search, its measured sub-niches, and the tag set copied out in Etsy's format.
HOW IT WORKS
Enter the phrase you'd target, 2 to 60 characters. We search it on Etsy live and read the listings competing for it.
Related phrases come from those listings' titles and tags. The first 10 are measured with your search; measure the next 10 with one click, at no extra charge, up to your plan's cap.
Pick from the recommendations, the chart or the table. Phrases over 20 characters stay out of the Etsy copy, so what you paste is what Etsy accepts.
PLANS
Every plan measures the same way. Plans differ in how many searches you can run a day, how many related keywords each search measures, and whether you get the keyword map and CSV export. When the daily free searches run out, each extra search costs 1 credit, and only after you confirm.

No, and that's deliberate. Etsy doesn't publish search volume, so any monthly figure would be an estimate dressed up as data. We show what Etsy does expose: the active listing count for the phrase and the daily favorites on the listings competing for it, with the sample size printed right next to it.
Goldmine is where you find product ideas. Keyword Explorer starts from a phrase you already have: it measures that exact keyword, then finds the narrower phrases competing listings use and measures them on the same scale. You leave knowing which ones are worth a place in your tags and title, and which ones aren't.
It's an Optimsy indicator, not an Etsy number. We rank a keyword's demand and its competition against the keywords Momentum Radar measures every day, then take the geometric mean of the two. A keyword has to do well on both axes to score high, and when the demand sample is too small, we show no score at all.
The tool stops and asks first. You can wait until tomorrow or continue for 1 credit per search, and nothing is charged unless you confirm. Measuring the next batch of keywords inside a search you've already run never costs extra, and a phrase measured earlier the same day is read back without a new Etsy call.
Yes. Save any keyword or your whole tag set to a list; each saved keyword keeps the measurement from the day you saved it, and your last 30 searches stay in your history. The free plan includes one list of 20 keywords. Paid plans add more lists, CSV export and the keyword map that groups phrases by intent.
on a hunch
Type the keyword you'd target, see how crowded it really is, and leave with a tag set built from measured sub-niches.
