PRICE POSITION
your price really sits
Pick a listing from your shop or paste a title and price. Price Position finds the listings a buyer would compare yours with on Etsy, sets aside the ones that aren't really the same product, and shows the typical price range, its median and where you sit in it.

THE PROBLEM
Pricing research on Etsy usually means searching your product and eyeballing the results. But that page mixes single items with 12-piece bundles, accessories with the finished product, and one shop's long series of near-identical listings. Average that and you get a number that describes nobody's product, least of all yours.
THE FIX
Price Position reads your title, searches Etsy with two English queries priced in your currency, and checks every candidate: is it the same product, a similar quantity, does it share the feature that sets yours apart? No shop counts more than twice, extreme prices are trimmed, and what's left becomes the range you're placed in.
WHAT YOU GET
A single recommended price would hide its own mistakes. A range shown with its listings makes them visible, so you can fix them.
The middle half of similar listings, from the lower quarter to the upper quarter. It's where most comparable listings actually price.
The midpoint of the similar listings, marked on the bar so you can see which half of the range you're in.
Below the range, lower half, upper half or above it. Above isn't a verdict: a premium item can belong there, and the result says so.
Every listing the range is built from, each with a link to open it on Etsy. Remove one that doesn't match and the range recalculates for free.
If one feature puts your listing in a different price class, like solid gold or framed, comparisons stick to listings that have it too, and the result names it.
Your checks are saved, so you can reopen an earlier result without running it again.
DEMO
one honest range
Recorded on the tool's own screen: a listing picked from a connected shop, the similar listings found, and the price placed on the range.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick an active listing from your connected Etsy shop, or paste a title with your price, currency and whether it's a physical item or a digital download.
Two English searches on Etsy, priced in your currency. Each candidate is checked for being the same kind of product in a similar quantity; listings Etsy can't price in your currency are left out.
See the range, your position and the listings behind it. Remove anything that isn't a real match and the range updates right away, with no new charge.
WHY NO SINGLE PRICE
We deliberately don't print one 'recommended price'. Matching similar listings is good but not perfect, and a single number would hide the mistakes. A range shown with its listings makes every mistake visible and fixable: you spot the wrong match and take it out.

Because one number would hide its own errors. Matching similar listings is reliable but not perfect, so we show the typical range and the exact listings it's built from. If one of them isn't really your product, you remove it and the range recalculates. The pricing decision stays yours, made on evidence you can check.
No. Connecting lets you pick an active listing straight from your shop, and we read its title and tags for you. Without a connection, paste a title of 5 to 200 characters, enter your price, pick a currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD or TRY) and say whether it's physical or digital.
Price Position is on the paid plans, Growth and up, and isn't part of the free plan. Every paid plan includes 20 checks a day. After that you can continue for 1 credit per check, and nothing is charged unless you confirm. Removing listings from a range and reopening earlier checks never cost anything.
That isn't automatically a problem. The tool reports a position, not a verdict: a handmade or premium item can rightly sit above the typical range. It tells you there are fewer listings at your price level, so open the list and check which listings you're really being compared with.
You get no range rather than a weak one. A range needs at least eight comparable listings; with fewer, the tool tells you so and your daily free check isn't used up. If you removed listings yourself and dropped below that, put one back from the list and the range comes back.
